i was watching a movie recently and learned a new word: ‘jung/jeong’. jung is a Korean word that describes the bond or love between two people that remains even after the end of the relationship. while they may no longer be together, they still have jung.

love exists in a million iterations— romantic love, platonic love, familial love, love of community, love for the planet, self-love, jung, etc…and they’re all not only valid but critical. love is what makes the world go round. love is what moves us forward.
