the chelsea skirt is a machine-sewn, soft knit waffle skirt with cargo-style side pockets. it is 36" in length and is a straight, fitted fit. due to a unique hand-dyeing process that uses pigments found in nature, there may be slight color variations within each indigo-dyed garment.

this style runs true to size and is 100% organic cotton. we recommend gentle wash separate + hang to dry.

*please note: alabama chanin has updated size designations to a numerical range of 1 - 6. these numbers correspond to the previous letter system. please see the size chart pictured for full measurements, and contact us with questions.

alabama chanin garments are artisan-crafted in florence, alabama by both in-house production team and contracted community makers. our indigo work is artisan-dyed by idyllwilde, also located in florence, alabama.

returns:

due to rising costs in pretty much everything, we've updated our return policy for 2024. thanks for continuing to support small business!

if you aren't completely satisfied, please email gabby@abasicshop.com with your order number to request a return for your full-priced item(s) within 14 days of receipt. we ask that items be returned in the same new condition that they were sent with original tags still attached and no signs of wear, wash, or use. once we receive the products and verify their condition, your refund will be credited to the payment method used to purchase less the $10 flat-rate return fee. in some cases, full-priced items may be returned after 14 days for store credit.

we reserve the right to refuse a refund if the product shows signs of wear or has been altered from its original condition in any way. should this happen, you may choose to have the item(s) sent back to you at your own expense.

**items not eligible for return include gift cards, back2basic. candles, hair accessories, jewelry, hosiery, hats, and books.

all sale items are final sale. all sale-on-sale discounts are also final sale.

exchanges:

please email gabby@abasicshop.com with your order number to request an exchange, and we will follow-up with you promptly for details. please note that we do not check or answer email on sunday or monday, so all messages sent on those days will receive responses on tuesday.

once the item is received in-store for exchange, the new item will be sent to you.
