mercerized wool undergoes a process that removes the scale structure from the surface of the wool for a smoother, finer texture with a beautiful buttery soft hand feel, and slight luster sheen. blending mercerized wool with yak amplifies the best of both yarns resulting in a sweater that's highly breathable, pilling resistant, and moisture wicking.
