the nia thomas high priestess dress captures the vibrant spirit of summer. it has an open construction with an open back cut out and ties adorned with cowry shells that add the perfect finishing touch. named after their favorite tarot card, this dress was made to make memories in. the long bell shaped sleeves, the open o shaped back, hand crocheted by Peruvian women whose families have been passing this craft down for generations.

the high priestess dress runs true to size. it is 100% tanguis cotton, and we recommend hand wash + lay flat to dry. to preserve the shape we recommend folding this piece and not hanging.

nia thomas basics are locally made in nyc’s garment district by a small female led garment factory. their knitwear is ethically-made in small batch in mexico and hong kong.
