the floss is 100% silk + peace silk, meaning no silkworms were harmed in its making. it is naturally dyed, washable, permanent colors, and 20/2 weight. this silk embroidery floss was hand dyed using a variety of natural dyes, many that they grow or gather themselves. most colors are semi-solid, meaning there is some subtle color variation.
