the harly jae milos dress is an ultra-feminine, vintage-inspired empire-waist linen dress with ruffles. it is a braless piece supported by fully elastic straps that also allow for breastfeeding. when first purchased, the fabric doesn't have a very pronounced 'gauze' effect which can make it look more see-through; but don't worry, after the first wash you will get the textured gauze we all love which will add opaqueness to the garments. in the photos, the dress has not been washed. (see before & after swatches in pictures).
the milos dress in natural checkered runs true to size and is 100% organic cotton gauze. we recommend hand wash cold or machine wash delicate + hang to dry.
this is an "easy to fit" piece considering it's made of a stretchy elastic that wraps around your bust & back, which makes it hard to provide accurate bust measurements. the measurements below are of the "non-stretchy" parts of the dress.

this garment was made in small batch in vancouver, british columbia.
the noir oil tanned leather has a smooth matte finish with a slight waxy hand and comes from a beloved tannery in the maker's home state, minnesota. this luxurious black leather pairs perfectly with the antique hardware purchased at a brocante in L'Isle Sur La Sorgue. the strap is adjustable and can also be taken off entirely, allowing for the handbag to have a second silhouette.
this unique handbag was inspired by a summer in the south of France, in the constant sun where the region values both style and functionality. these designs should transition through every life situation- from a bustling market to a quiet date night to wandering through a museum.
