our team's consensus closet staple. the alabama chanin essential rib dress is a machine-sewn, flattering, straight silhouette with a slight train in the back and side slits for ease of movement. with its slim fit and rounded neckline that is not too low or too high, this style has a casual and comfortable, yet tailored look. it features lightweight rib trim around the neckline, sleeves, and hem; and we mean it when we say this...this dress looks great on every body type.

the rib slip dress runs true to size and is 100% organic lightweight cotton rib-knit. we recommend gentle wash + hang to dry.

due to rising costs in pretty much everything, we've updated our return policy for 2024. thanks for continuing to support small business!

if you aren't completely satisfied, please email gabby@abasicshop.com with your order number to request a return for your full-priced item(s) within 14 days of receipt. we ask that items be returned in the same new condition that they were sent with original tags still attached and no signs of wear, wash, or use. once we receive the products and verify their condition, your refund will be credited to the payment method used to purchase less the $10 flat-rate return fee. in some cases, full-priced items may be returned after 14 days for store credit.

we reserve the right to refuse a refund if the product shows signs of wear or has been altered from its original condition in any way. should this happen, you may choose to have the item(s) sent back to you at your own expense.
